Baby Lifeline was saddened to learn that, on Monday 8 July 2024, the Ohymatdyt Children’s Hospital in Ukraine was attacked by Russian missiles. The attack killed two people and left over 300 injured. With 620 beds, Ohmatdyt is the largest children’s hospital in Ukraine. Staff treat almost 20,000 children and perform around 10,000 operations annually,

Baby Lifeline’s Ukraine Appeal surpasses £3 million

Baby Lifeline has now donated over £3,120,000 of medical aid to Ukraine. In March 2022, the charity launched the Ukraine Appeal to help provide vital medical aid to support pregnant women, their unborn and newborn babies, affected by the conflict.
