"The thought that in 2025 there are mothers and babies in the UK still coming to harm, even dying, during childbirth is intolerable. I want to do something about it, so I signed myself up to train through the cold, dark months of winter, do a 26-mile run in April 2026 with several thousand other people, and fundraise inbetween!"

Yasmin Bentley
"I’m running to support an amazing charity a Baby Lifeline, a charity dedicated to giving every baby and mother the best possible start in life and supporting the frontline heroes who care for mothers and newborns. In moments like my experience, greater care is needed and a voice to advocate for mothers and their babies."
