Help us make maternity care safer

Fundraise for Baby Lifeline

Whether you run a marathon, host an event or take on a personal challenge,
your fundraising helps us provide life-saving equipment, training and research.

Why Fundraising Matters

Even with advances in modern medicine, every day around 13 babies in the UK are stillborn
or die within their first four weeks of life
, and every week a family loses a mother.

Baby Lifeline works to change this by supporting NHS professionals through:

• Life-saving maternity and neonatal equipment
• Specialist training for healthcare teams
• Research that improves care across the UK

Your fundraising helps us continue this vital work.

We rely on your generosity- without fundraising we would not be able to continue improving care for mothers and babies all over the UK.

Whatever the scale of the event you want to hold, whether it is a coffee morning, running a marathon, a jumble sale or a summer ball we can offer help and support.

The Difference Your Fundraising Makes

Brent, a senior paramedic, attended a Baby Lifeline training course on childbirth emergencies. Just two months later he identified a placental abruption during an emergency call. That training helped save the life of a mother and her baby.

Your fundraising helps us deliver more training like this to healthcare professionals across the UK.

Millions raised

Baby Lifeline has already raised millions of pounds, which has helped to purchase vital equipment for maternity and special care baby units.

It is a sad fact that, even with the advances in medical care and science today, every day around 14 babies are stillborn or die within their first four weeks of life in the UK. On average 1 mother a week also dies in the UK.

When investigated, it has been reported that a significant number of mothers and babies may have had a different outcome with different care.

There is still a lot more work to be done.

Corporate fundraising opportunities

Every year, supporters across the UK organise events and challenges to support Baby Lifeline. From corporate partnerships and events to our incredible patrons and ambassadors, we are all working together towards our mission of making care safer and better for every pregnant woman, pregnant person, and newborn baby all over the UK and worldwide.
