Baby Lifeline has now donated almost £3million worth of maternity safety equipment since the launch of our Ukraine Appeal in March 2022.
Three lorries carrying vital medical equipment donated by Baby Lifeline arrived in Mykolaiv at the end of May 2024.
"We're so grateful to everyone that has supported our Ukraine Appeal. These much-needed donations enable healthcare professionals to deliver safe care, even in those areas where basic medical supplies are scarce. Nearing the £3million mark is a fantastic achievement but we won't stop there – our work continues!"
The latest delivery is the second to arrive in Ukraine in May 2024. The latest shipment includes fully equipped hospital beds, a gynaecology couch, surgical equipment, wheelchairs and consumables.
Equipment including five community midwives’ bags were delivered earlier in the month.
