Our partners – professionals working in Ukraine – identify key places of need and where less aid is going, and then distribute it using civilian volunteer drivers.
The specialist equipment has made it to Sumy, Kharkiv, Lozova, Chernihiv, Luhansk region, Donetsk region, Irpin, Bucha, and Kyiv. The bags are sent to the Isida Clinic in Kyiv, where the need is then determined in regions across Ukraine and onward transfer is then organised.
Here are the bags arriving in Bucha, and being handed over to the midwives and doctors there.
The aid is delivered using a network of incredible civilian drivers. The drivers risk their lives to bring aid to those who need it most.
Our Ukraine Appeal is focused on delivering specialist, requested maternity and trauma equipment to those areas who need it most.
