Baby Lifeline strengthens its family voice with new advisory group launch

Baby Lifeline is launching its new Family Voices Group, which will help guide what the charity does and ensure it’s doing everything it can to make birth better and safer for mothers, birthing people, and their babies.

Baby Lifeline has always worked in close collaboration with frontline maternity professionals and are privileged to have the support of our expert Multi Professional Advisory Panel (MPAP). As the work of the charity grows, we want to recognise the importance and value of listening to service users and families. To ensure that our work has the biggest impact and focuses on areas that will make the most difference, we are delighted to announce our new Baby Lifeline Family Voices Group.

The Family Voices Group includes the following honorary members:

Michelle Hemmington

Sandra Igwe

Laura Middleton

Nadine Montgomery

Susanna Stanford

James Titcombe

The group will meet regularly throughout the year, and together with our MPAP, will play an important role in bringing unique insight, knowledge and experience together to help inform and shape our work.

Baby Lifeline’s Founder and CEO Judy Ledger said:

“Every member of our new Family Voices Group brings an incredible wealth of experience, expertise, and insight to the table. We are thrilled that such amazing individuals have agreed to come together to help support our work. The need to drive improvements in maternity safety remains a pressing national priority, and this new group will play an important part of helping to ensure Baby Lifeline’s work makes the biggest difference possible.”
