Nadine is a postgraduate legal researcher focussing on patient information disclosure cases and medical informed consent at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. She is more notably known as the pursuer in the landmark Supreme Court Judgment, Montgomery v Lanarkshire Health Board.
Nadine has a Law degree, LLB, from the University of Strathclyde and also a BSc in Molecular Biology from the University of Glasgow.
Birthrights, a human rights in childbirth charity, announced Nadine as their first ever patron. As a public ambassador she continues to champion women’s autonomy and consent in childbirth, supporting their communications and campaigns and training for healthcare professionals.
Nadine has recently accepted a position as a committee member of the Law Society of Scotland in Health and medical Law where she can now become involved in contributing towards the development of policy and legislation to the benefit of both the profession and the public.
