We are excited to announce that we have space for two individuals to join the Baby Lifeline Family Voices Group.
Baby Lifeline is a unique national charity which promotes the safe care of pregnant women, birthing people and newborn babies all over the UK and worldwide. It does this by supporting and working with NHS professionals – buying equipment, developing and providing critical training, and conducting research.
Baby Lifeline’s Family Voices Group brings the voice of families to everything we do to make birth better and safer for all mothers, birthing people, and babies. The group brings together people with a range of experiences and insights to inform our work, provide expertise and guidance, and develop new projects.
Responsibilities:
- Attend Family Voices Group meetings (in person or online) four times a year
- Contribute to and review Baby Lifeline projects (examples of our recent projects below!)
- Panel members may be invited to represent Baby Lifeline at events or in media appearances
- Champion Baby Lifeline’s message
If you are interested in our work, have a passion for maternity care, and have lived experience relevant to the role, please email abaigh@babylifeline.org.uk, telling us why you’d like to join us. Please include your contact details. We are accepting expressions of interest until 30th September 2022.
The images above show recent Baby Lifeline projects including sending maternity equipment to Ukraine, publishing Mind the Gap 2021: An Investigation into Maternity Training for Frontline Professionals Across the UK, organising our third annual National Maternity Safety Conference, and continuing to support healthcare professionals through our Baby Lifeline Training courses.
