Kellie Bright

“I was delighted to receive a letter from Dame Judi Dench to accept the role of Ambassador for Baby Lifeline and its Monitoring for Mums £5 million Appeal. Dame Judi has been a Patron of this unique mother and baby charity for many years, and I am proud to join her and others to support the care of our pregnant women and their babies.

As Mum to my lovely sons Freddy and Gene, and having experienced good pregnancies and births, I cannot praise the maternity professionals who provided my care, enough. I often tell people that if I hadn’t become an actress, I would like to have been a midwife! That’s how much admiration I have for the profession!

By supporting the Monitoring for Mums appeal, funds much needed to further equip maternity and neonatal units nationwide, will make such a difference.

I am also proud to launch the UK M.U.M (Maternity Unit Miracle) Awards™, and ask you to nominate your maternity healthcare teams outlining their excellent care.”
