Meet Our Fundraising Hero:

Frank Sharratt

Raising vital funds to support safer maternity care across the UK.

Frank's fundraiser for Baby Lifeline
The Rebekah Way

In September 2026, Frank and a team of supporters will take on an extraordinary endurance challenge across the Lake District to raise vital funds for Baby Lifeline.
Covering 105 miles across some of England’s toughest terrain, the route includes over 9,400 metres of ascent, wild camping, and six days of relentless physical challenge. Named The Rebekah Way, the challenge has been created in honour of Frank’s partner Rebekah, following the traumatic birth of their son Stan earlier this year.
After facing serious complications during labour, Frank witnessed first-hand the incredible importance of skilled maternity care and the life-saving impact of NHS teams. Baby Lifeline’s mission to improve the safety of mothers and babies across the UK has since become deeply personal to him and his family.
Every mile walked and every donation raised will help support vital maternity training, equipment and research to help make childbirth safer for families everywhere.
Why Frank is Fundraising

Frank is supporting Baby Lifeline following the traumatic birth of his son, Stan, in April 2026, where both Stan and Rebekah required urgent medical care.

After witnessing first-hand the incredible work of maternity and neonatal teams, Frank created The Rebekah Way to raise awareness and vital funds to help improve the safety of mothers and babies across the UK.

By taking on this extraordinary challenge across the Lake District, Frank hopes to support Baby Lifeline’s mission to provide frontline NHS teams with the training, equipment and resources needed to help make childbirth safer for families everywhere.

Every donation, no matter the size, will help make a real difference.
