Christmas Appeal 2025
Help Us Save Lives
This Christmas
Join Baby Lifeline’s Christmas Appeal and bring
safer care to mothers and babies this festive season.
Join our mission this Christmas to transform care for mothers and their newborns.
Baby Lifeline is a unique national charity whose mission is to make care safer and better for every pregnant woman, pregnant person, and newborn baby all over the UK and worldwide.
It does this by supporting and working with NHS professionals at the heart of care – buying equipment, developing and providing critical training and conducting research.
We rely on your generosity...
Our mission is to ensure every woman and baby receives the safest, highest-quality care during pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
With your help, Baby Lifeline can provide specialist training, essential equipment, and vital research to protect mothers and babies.
Together we can make a difference.
Every donation helps us purchase vital equipment for maternity teams and special care baby units, train NHS frontline staff (midwives and doctors) in important topics, and carry out crucial research.
This Christmas, we want to ensure every mother and baby gets the best care possible throughout pregnancy and those precious weeks afterwards. There is still a lot more work to be done, and your support will help us do it.

- Black and Asian women face significantly higher risks during pregnancy compared to white women.
- Over two-thirds of maternity professionals report inadequate access to essential equipment like thermometers and monitors.
Post-Pandemic Struggles: Increased trauma, resource gaps, and diminished funding have strained maternity services further.
