Senior Research and Prevention Advisor, Sands, and Sands representative on the Perinatal Mortality Review and MBRRACE-UK collaborations, the National Child Mortality Database and the National Hub, Health Quality Improvement Scotland, which aaims to improve reviews and investigations after a baby has died. Charlotte also led on the subgroup for the development of the Parent Engagement Materials for the PMRT and works on several research studies associated with understanding Open Disclosure and parents involvement in hospital review. Her own daughter Hope died shortly after she was born in 2001 due to events in labour.
