Cathy Garlick

Cathy qualified as a midwife in 1986 and has worked within maternity services in Leeds, Birmingham, London and Worcester, in both clinical and leadership roles. Her experiences as a Community midwife, working with differing communities, has re-enforced her belief of personalised, individualised care for families. She has worked with different Local Maternity & Neonatal Systems which combines her passion for safe, high quality perinatal care, that is enhanced by system working. Since standing back from full time NHS employment, Cathy has been able to use her experiences to support perinatal services in a variety of ways and continues to enjoy contributing to perinatal care.
