So, whether you have started running during lockdown and ready for a serious challenge or completed the course before, get your place on the starting line with Team Baby Lifeline.
Applications to run for Baby Lifeline in both the London and Virtual event are now open and will close on Monday 31st May 2021.
We have an extremely limited number of places remaining so please tell us why you want to run with Baby Lifeline.
We will get back to all applicants by 5th June. You can apply by filling in the form below. Thank you to everyone who has applied and good luck!
Already have a Ballot place? Run with us!
If you have been successful in the London or Virtual Marathon’s ballot and would like to use your place to fundraise for Baby Lifeline, please use our contact us form below and we will call to discuss. Thank you for your support.
The London Marathon welcomes the use of standard day chairs/wheelchairs and race runners in the mass participation event.
Free places for guides/support runners are issued for visually impaired runners. Guides/support runners will receive a finisher’s medal, t-shirt and recovery bag when they cross the finish line.
All participants must complete the event by the official cut-off time which is currently 19:00. If you would like to request a waiver of the cut-off time for medal purposes, you can submit a request to the London Marathon.
Why Join Team Baby Lifeline?
We’ll provide each of our runners with a bespoke Baby Lifeline running vest and a fundraising pack full of top tips and resources. We’ll also give fundraising support through all of our social media channels.
The money that you raise will have a direct impact on our work. This might include purchasing equipment for maternity units, providing training for midwives, or producing some of our high-quality research. By running the 2022 Virgin Money London Marathon for Baby Lifeline, you will be helping us to carry on improving maternity care for mothers and babies across the UK.
