Welcome to the Baby Lifeline Training Ltd Clinical and Legal Professional Training home page.

The charity Baby Lifeline has outsourced training to a not for profit organisation – Baby Lifeline Training Ltd, and allowed the use of the brand under license. Grants will be made for training from the charity to the Training Company.

Our training courses are planned and delivered by clinicians/lawyers for clinicians/lawyers.
We are pleased to soon introduce our training programme for 2008. Training is constantly updated and modified to reflect changes within maternity service provision. We welcome ideas for topics to be covered.

Professional training: an overview

Baby Lifeline Training Ltd Conferences and Study Days are tailored to meet the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) needs of the multi professional team, including midwives, obstetricians, anaesthetists, paediatricians and neonatal nurses, and clinical negligence lawyers - equipping delegates for the challenges of the future.

As major providers of Maternity Conferences and Study days in the United Kingdom, we are key stakeholders in the delivery of improved maternity care and increased standards.  We have developed a systematic approach to the design, development and delivery of CPD that brings together expertise from eminent clinicians and matches this to the training and development priorities identified by Trusts.

We have a good association with both the Royal College of Obstetricians and the Royal College of Midwives, the Healthcare Commission, CEMACH and other relevant associations, ensuring that the development of training opportunities are directly in line with the needs of the maternity care community.
