Virgin London Marathon 2010

Ross Bannister

Hi, I’m Ross and I’m 29 years old. I live in St Albans with my fiancé Claire and work as a company director for a 3D CAD recruitment company called Solid People Ltd. I started running last year when I entered the Royal Parks Half Marathon with my Mum and Sister. This was a great experience and helped ignite my desire to run the London Marathon. It’s clear Baby Lifeline do an amazing job supporting mothers and new born babies throughout the UK so I feel privileged to be supporting such a good cause in the London Marathon.

Training has started late, however, I feel it’s started fairly well. I’m up to 7 miles at about a rate of 10 minutes per mile. I’m out for a big run tonight attempting 9 miles. I’m running the Sussex Beacon Half Marathon on the 21st February so need to be going for 10-11 mile runs over the next couple of weeks.
